Exploring Family & Systemic Constellations
Originally developed by Bert Hellinger, family/systemic constellations is a healing modality that explores how present-day unwanted behaviors and experiences can stem from generational and systemic patterns. When personal change work brings some relief but fails to create lasting change, chances are constellation work will identify unresolved traumas and reveal hidden dynamics that allow the completion of these old patterns and pave the way for new choices.
Whether you want to facilitate constellations or just want to understand better your place in the many systems in your life, this class will immerse you in the workings of constellations. You’ll witness the transformation when old, systemic patterns are complete, and you have a more profound experience of belonging.
Carl Buchheit and Carla Camou will facilitate this course, which consists of seven sessions over 13 weeks. There are no prerequisites to undertake this course, and no NLP experience is necessary to benefit from this course. The course is open to everyone, including people who may have trained with other facilitators and are seeking to broaden their experience by learning different styles and insights. This is an essential class if you are interested in healing and the therapeutic possibilities of constellations.

Although this highly participatory class is designed for creating more understanding of Bert Hellinger’s Family Constellation work, rather than to heal students’ families, it often does allow huge, and sometimes unexpected, shifts in students themselves such as:

What You Will Learn:
Whether you want to learn how to facilitate constellations or you are intrigued and inspired by the profound depth and possibilities of the work and want an even more visceral experience of it, this class will help you to understand the underlying structure and poetry of constellation work and to find the places in you that respond to the energies of the field. This deep knowledge and resonance in you can in turn influence the energies of the systemic field in respectful and beneficial ways.
- The class is designed to give participants a solid grounding in the fundamentals of how constellation work is done. We'll draw on the original constellation work from Bert Hellinger and share our experience and perspective that expand the framework of family and systemic constellations in the 30 years since NLP Marin first learned constellation work in the 1990s from Bert Hellinger himself.
- We will introduce some of the more sophisticated understandings and stances which lend increased elegance and depth to the work. Students will learn how the Orders of Love operate and how people become entangled by unconscious rules of family belonging. We'll also show how this work applies to any group of people - like businesses.
- Everyone will participate, either as a representative, a facilitator, or both, in many constellations and will therefore get to try these tools directly. This means participants will have many opportunities to participate in shifts in other peoples’ system as well as to experience shifts their own system.
- Students will have the opportunity to participate in self-organized study groups to deepen their skills between classes.
