NLP Marin is excited to welcome our alumna, Meghna Majmudar, for a brand new course open to the public titled Reimagining Power & Privilege: A Skillset to Help Build a World We All Want to Live In. This 2-day workshop is informed by many of the frames Meghna learned throughout her training in Transformational NLP.

“As Head of Executive and Leadership Engagement at ReadySet, in my own experience and that of my clients, I have noticed that most people do not see themselves as being in power. This includes those in highly recognized positions of power like the executives I coach, but also managers, leaders, teachers, therapists, coaches, founders, directors — and even parents.

Power, privilege, and authority are experienced as feelings — they aren’t simply static concepts — and many people code these feelings negatively. When this happens, people experience fear, anxiety, and aversion when they think about power (and being in power).

I have developed specific frameworks — some of which I learned through my training in Transformational NLP — that help people look at power and privilege through an entirely different lens. This interrupts negative patterns, begins to create more positive patterns, and offers people the time and space to choose differently in their interactions. They develop a skillset that allows them a more positive relationship to power, privilege, and authority — in their personal lives as well as in the communities and workplaces they find themselves in.”
